Clearing

"Clearing" was painted to capture the feeling of open space — the moment when a landscape holds its breath. In this piece, the hills dip toward the center and the sky opens just wide enough to let light through. Earthy greens and warm browns spread to the edges, grounding what the sky makes expansive.

This series has challenged me to work with vast, sweeping perspectives that use the full width of a composition to create a sense of quiet and release — an invitation to pause inside the landscape.

Print Options:

1. Giclée fine art print on museum-grade, archival paper (unframed)

   1. Borderless: printed without a border to the chosen print size (i.e. 8x10). Ideal for exact frame size and no matte.

   2. Border: 0.25 inch white border added to print & size of paper (i.e. 8.5x10.5). Ideal for framing that will include a matte.

2. 1.5 inch gallery-wrapped canvas

   1. Professionally framed in your choice of wood finish

   2. Canvases are hand stretched on solid wood bars and set in a float frame
